According to the World Travel and Tourism Council (www.wttc.org) there are
currently 214 million jobs within the travel and tourism sector. By 2013 this is expected
to grow to 250 million jobs, with developing countries travel and tourism employment
growing at up to 10% per annum
|
A Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hospitality Management provides an internationally recognised
qualification which can be used to either gain employment within this fast growing sector or to
further qualifications by entering the final year of a Hospitality Management degree at a University.
9 or 18 months of academic study followed by a compulsory 9 month work placement at a variety
of 4* and 5* hotels within the UK mainland.
IHMES fees include ‘all inclusive’ food and accommodation seven days a week for resident students.
